Small art tip for drawing reptile mouths: those things in the corner of the mouth aren't flat membranes, they're the thick jaw muscles covered in miscues membrane.

I still have to work out how much it would be to be able to focus less on freelance work as I am a college student.
No matter how many realistic muscle/skin sims or 20k resolution textures you have, you will never beat grounded camerawork, naturalistic refrenced animation, and normal ass daytime lighting.
Modern realistic cg is too dramatic, too thought out, too idealized.
