We've launched a new joint inquiry with @CommonsEd on the Government’s Child Poverty Strategy. The strategy aims to boost family incomes and reduce child poverty, but is the strategy ambitious enough? (1/2)

Image 2/2. An image with a child holding a bear with text that reads '1 in 3 children - 4.5 million - in the UK are below the poverty line. Scrapping the two-child limit is expected to lift around 450,000 out of poverty by 2029 according to Government estimates. However, roughly 4 million will continue to suffer hardship.'

~ 22% of 60–65-year-olds live in poverty. A higher State Pension age could mean longer hardship. At 9.30am tomorrow, we'll continue our inquiry into the transition to State Pension age with @IndependentAge @policy_practice @age_uk @WomensBudgetGrp @The_ABI_UK and @PensionsUK_.
