You fumble the ball here, you have 10 laps automatically. One of my guys fumbled yesterday on scouts team, and I saw him doing laps. None of the defensive coaches told him to run, he did it on his own. That's a small example of a culture.
As a HS coach, I worked from 7am-11am, helped pack the bus, DROVE the bus 2 hrs to and 2 hrs back for road games, coached the game, helped feed the boys, started laundry, and cut film before bed. HS ball would make some college guys hang the whistle up. That's real!

If you can't do these BASIC necessities, college football won't be the move for you.
- Go to Class and actually do the work
- Go to Lifts
- Go to Practice
- Go to the Trainers

If you are a 2022 DB (read carefully DB), and your recruitment is still open, hit me up. #4 in Defensive Pass Efficiency in all of Division II is cool but we want more and better.

HS recruits, take this advice seriously. If a D2/D3/NAIA school is showing interest, you'd better take them seriously. I just scrolled down my twitter for 4 minutes and it was all players announcing they were getting into the portal. And I don't even follow these kids.
Young coaches: You'll meet great people, but you'll find out who your friends are when you need a job. I was officially made a college coach (fired) last spring, and probably a dozen people that reached out to help me find something. Give it time, you'll see it play out.
I know the game is about Jimmys and Joes. Auburn's MLB is being questioned because he is only 5'11. Kid is First Team All-SEC. My #1 question will always be "Can he play at this level?" Far too often coaches scratch a kid because he doesn't have the measurables.
No decals. No stickers. Just pure black paint. We want guys that want to keep life simple: Football and School. This D-II life is going to be different.
