If you play AAU for me, cool. If you don’t, cool. If you beat us playing in a tournament, ok. If we beat you in a tournament, ok. NONE of it matters unless you get a scholarship. That’s what it’s about! Trophies, medals, gear, sponsorships etc. NO. Getting a scholarship!!!
I have 3 degrees including my MBA. I would never tell a doctor how to perform surgery. Yet people with little to no basketball experience try to tell coaches how to coach.

A basketball coach who genuinely cares about his players spends more time with your kids than his own. So the next time you believe you can do the job better than them, remember that comes with the job too.
People making fun of kids offers…especially other coaches…is wild to me. It takes a lot more than ever for a high school kid to get an offer and adults come on social media mocking their offers or mocking the schools that make the offers. Please remove yourself from basketball.
