Just want to remind everyone that we were picked dead last in our first year as a D2 team
- It is with greatest sorrow that we have just got word that Brother Dan has recently passed. He was a respected member of our football team, community & our team Chaplin. He was a former Player for the Lobos, a former Lobo Football Coach, Hall Honor inductee at Sul Ross & Friend.
- Definitely an honor but it’s because all of our players, coaches and support staff past and present that achieved a good season last year. I had great players and hired great Texas Coaches. - When I was a HC I had multiple come up to me and say, “You’re the HC you’re schedule is what you want.” I always said, “Not really, it takes what it takes. I have a responsibility to an army of men & their families.” When you are an HC of any program you’re always on a D1
