Personal Life Update: As some of you may have noticed, I have been absent on the Herd bench the last couple of games. Recently I was presented with an unbelievable opportunity outside of basketball that would allow me to spend the time with my family I have always dreamed of.

There will be over 1000 transfers this year. Advice to recruits to avoid this..... Pick a school for: 1)Relationships 2)Style of Play 3)Opportunity 4)Academics Don’t Pick a school for: 1)Chasing Level 2)Size of Arena 3)Amount of Gear 4)Nightlife

There are about 1400 D1 roster spots available to be had every off-season. There are also over HALF A MILLION HS players, thousands of JUCO players, and hundreds of transfers every year. The math says take the free education where you are wanted.

Words can’t describe how excited I am to come back home to Marshall University as an assistant coach. The last 24 hours of my life have been extremely humbling and reminded me of how many great friends I am so fortunate to have. Thank you all for reaching out & wishing congrats!
