    Congratulations to Mater Dei sophomore Alyssa Koerkenmeier on the first ever triple double in the Girls State Tournament. She had 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks. @IHSAScoreZone

    Breese Central's Kyle Athmer became the IHSA's first player ever to throw for 300 yards on Friday and also toss a complete-game shutout on Saturday. On Friday he was 16-of-22 for 306 yards and 5 TDs. On Saturday he went 6 shutout innings with 11 strikeouts. @IHSASID @IHSA_IL

    Great news from Mater Dei's Trey Gerdes as he has been released from the hospital after a severe concussion in today's 3rd quarter at St. Teresa. The family is heading back home.
