this one hits home god took me out of the game because I couldn’t fully submit to him- 4 + years and the answer is getting clear at 25 my ego & upside clouded my intensity, & habits and I paid the price by feeling literal hell on earth (see pinned tweet) ballplayers -submit

People don't talk enough about how difficult the transition can be once an athlete's playing career is over. There's soul-searching at a minimum and a full-blown identity crisis for others. Imagine redefining your purpose after working your whole adult life towards a goal.

All high school, juco, and college mounds need to be strictly regulated to MLB standards Way too much variation in heights, steepness, cheap dirt that cause massive holes at landing, etc. they have a huge impact on pitch shapes, releases, focal adjustments, and the overall on

Do some colleges develop players better than others? Of course, they do. Who are some schools that have taken non draft picks (not good enough) out of HS and turned them into draft picks that have played in the Big Leagues. I'll start: Chipola Junior College Your turn...Go!
