Allen Weisselberg testified yesterday that he "never even thought about" Trump's penthouse, which was "a de minimis asset" in his mind. Except I sat in Trump Tower while he and Trump repeatedly tried to pump up the value of the property for a higher spot on The @Forbes 400 list.

"And different things" includes an entirely separate penthouse belonging to someone else. And, by the way, Trump is making it sound like he wasn't aware, but he spent two hours personally telling me his apartment was 33,000 square feet and took up all of the top 3 floors...

Trump: "They took 10,000 feet per floor, and they went times three. But they didn't take out elevator shafts and different things."

Four actors from The Big Bang Theory made a combined $98.5 million last year, which is actually more than the Sacramento Kings' entire team payroll.

Donald Trump’s sons have been quietly making deals, selling off more than $100M of the president’s real estate portfolio through more than 100 tiny transactions that have mostly flown under the radar. My #Forbes400 magazine story, w/ @DanAlexander21. forbes.com/sites/danalexa…

In fact, we even toured Trump's penthouse that day. Weisselberg was standing right there when Trump walked @Forbes through the place, lying about how big it was while we were inside it. "You really have to see it to understand," Weisselberg said. "You can't replace this."

Here's @DanAlexander21's latest piece, on Allen Weisselberg's lies on the stand: Trump's CFO spent decades overseeing all the details of the Trump Org, including being intimately involved in Trump's yearslong campaign of lies about his apartment: forbes.com/sites/danalexa…

Here's the story of Donald Trump taking me on a tour of his Trump Tower apartment ("the best apartment ever built, they say—those that know"), lying about how big it is, then getting sued by the NY attorney general in part for lying about its size. forbes.com/sites/chasewit…

I spent a lot of time digging through @Forbes' complicated history with Kylie Jenner—and her complicated history with the truth. @MadelinePBerg and I did the math. Turns out, she's not a billionaire. forbes.com/sites/chasewit…

When we were estimating Trump's net worth for The @Forbes 400, the Trump Org held up Steve Ekovich as an independent golf expert who could back up Trump's lofty valuations. Here he is calling us "bastards always trying to tear people down" in an email to Allen Weisselberg...

The NYAG'S filing includes as exhibits several Allen Weisselberg emails entered into evidence—plus, some that haven't. Here, a real estate exec gripes to Weisselberg of Forbes: "Those bastards always trying to tear people down, then when they are wrong they hide the apology."

As part of @Forbes' deep dive into all of the 2020 presidential candidates' fortunes (see here: forbes.com/sites/danalexa…), I dug into Andrew Yang's background. He's not the Silicon Valley billionaire you may think he is. forbes.com/sites/chasewit…

Donald Trump is a professional real estate developer who designed his own penthouse, in a building he built, and lived there for decades. He knew exactly how big his home was. He knew he had a neighbor!

Yesterday, I testified before the grand jury that’s presumably deciding whether to indict Donald Trump. Here’s why @Forbes fought the subpoenas we were issued, and here’s what @RandallLane and I ended up saying. forbes.com/sites/randalll…

Bernie Sanders, apparently known as Crazy Bernie to some, released 10 years of tax returns yesterday. He had a good decade. Here's how the socialist senator earned nearly $5M—much of it since his 2016 campaign.
