ESPN's Ryan Clark nailed it. NFL fans rightly applaud breast cancer awareness, autism research and military love. But then boo players standing for unity? This wasn't an anthem protest. It was about black people seeking equal treatment. Bad look at Arrowhead. Be better, America.

Can't make this up. So the first time Arch Manning touches the ball against Texas A&M, he scores a touchdown.

Oklahoma DL Ethan Downs — one of several athletes honored the half as part of the All State Good Works Team — flashed the Horns down and the Texas fans noticed. A torrent of OU Sucks chants rained down as he ran off the field, loving every second. College football. Gotta love it

I'm not a fan of a team getting a CFP after a 34-10 loss. Alabama waxed them 52-24 in the early season but the Texas A&M Aggies have beaten all the other teams they have faced. A&M has a legit claim to the No. 4 spot. I would take the Aggies over Notre Dame. #CFP

Jalen Hurts is a winner. What grace after being replaced. An example for young kids everywhere.

Today is not an Arch Manning problem. He has stood tall in the pocket behind an average offensive line, delivered some nice throws and led the Horns in rushing.

Nice goodbye image of Jordan Whittington, one of the best people to come through here.

This catch would have been some lore had Texas gone on to win against Washington. Now it stands as just an amazing shot 📸. @sara_diggins and @aaronemartinez did some awesome work for @statesman at the @SugarBowlNola

Never cheer in the press box. Go buy a ticket and scream your lungs out. But once you're in that space, it's a job. If that's too difficult, this job isn't for you. I told my students I would embarrass them if I saw them cheering or wearing team colors in the press box.

The easy take is to chastise cheering as a reporter. Whether I like it or not, the line between fan & reporter is becoming blurry especially with non-traditional media. Unfortunately, however — stuff like this sets back ppl who want to get into media & be taken seriously.

If you told me last week that Texas would hold Ohio State to 14 points and 203 yards and stop the Buckeyes nine times on 12 third-down attempts, I would have said the Horns won by 10.

I asked Breckyn Hager what made West Virginia such a tough venue for visiting teams. "Because it's a bunch hillbillies drinking moonshine."

In 20 years, no one will remember that Abilene Christian got blown out in the second round of the 2021 NCAAs Tournament. But they will always remember that a loaded third-seeded Texas lost to Abilene Christian. That’s forever.
