Human rights are for everyone. This #HumanRightsDay, let’s reflect on the progress made and the work still needed to ensure equality, dignity, and inclusion for all.
One critical step is better protections against discrimination based on economic or social disadvantage (social condition). Adding social condition as a ground of discrimination under the Canadian Human Rights Act is an obvious and necessary choice.
