- Well, it finally happened. My entire 30-minute documentary exposing and spreading awareness about YouTube's massive Minecraft "kids content" issue got ad limited - for a 4 second clip.
- do you guys think there’s video essays in parkour civilization
- Replying to @CalebIsSaltyInterestingly enough, the video was flagged for "Violence". Upon requesting a manual review, it was denied within 30 minutes for showing "graphic dead bodies / ultra violent acts." This is the specific 4-second clip. Come on man 😂
00:00 - Replying to @CalebIsSaltyWhat makes this extra interesting is that @TeamYouTube actually commented on the video when it was initially released. So not only are they fully aware of the danger this content poses to kids, but they’ve made ZERO changes, and are STILL actively suppressing videos about it.
- Replying to @CalebIsSaltyHere is every example YouTube provides for the reason I got demonetized, my video clearly includes none of these examples. It was only even shown to educationally highlight all the disturbing themes in these channels’ videos directed at kids. also its MINECRAFT GAMEPLAY 😭
- Replying to @CalebIsSaltySince being ad limited, the video has obviously been pushed less on YouTube, ultimately suppressing its reach and the awareness of this issue. All while the original channel whose clip I used remains monetized as far as I'm aware LMFAO
- Replying to @CalebIsSaltyfully remonetize my video @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators. or demonetize every single harmful kids channel as well. either one. shit ain’t fair 🫡
- Replying to @CalebIsSaltyThe worst part? You can't request another manual review after you're declined. YouTube doesn't tell you exactly what's wrong with the video until after the manual review. I'd gladly cut those 4 seconds to get re-monetized and spread awareness about this disgusting situation.
- Replying to @CalebIsSaltyAs I mentioned in my video, YouTube has a history of targeting & demonetizing creators that speak out while leaving the original, harmful channels untouched, exposing millions of kids to content that clearly violates @YouTube’s community guidelines and causes long-lasting harm.
