    #OTD in 1983, Barbara McClintock was notified that she had received the @NobelPrize for Physiology or Medicine. Days later, McClintock, who eschewed publicity while maintaining a wry, self-effacing sense of humor, showed up at a CSHL event “incognito” wearing a Groucho Marx mask.
