- GM. 20 years ago today was the day I arrived at Parris Island to stand on those yellow footprints and start my journey of becoming a Marine. This was not a path I was forced into. At that time there was no draft. I was 21 and working as a licensed cosmetologist in Tampa, FL.
- It’s been 19 years today since this Marine lost his life in Haditha Iraq. He was a great friend through school and set standards of how Marines should handle themselves while he served our country. While on patrols I past by the hole that was left by the IED that took his life
