- I'm old enough to remember Oregon 59, Florida State 20; Alabama 38, Michigan State 0; Clemson 31, Ohio State 0; Clemson 30, Notre Dame 3; LSU 63, Oklahoma 28. Those were playoff semis, with brand names getting smoked. Don't act like is the first time we've seen playoff blowouts.
- For narrative consistency I guess it should be said that Tennessee is proving it doesn't belong in the playoff and the SEC is overrated. Am I doing this right?
