Haruki Murakami always listens to music while writing. He has over 10,000 records to choose from... 📸: SWITCH Vol.37 No.12 Nov 2023
Haruki Murakami sitting by a table, enjoying music in a room filled with extensive records collection.
A cozy room with a wall-mounted shelf displaying a variety of vinyl record albums. Below the shelf, more albums are neatly arranged in rows. Artwork hangs on the wall and a dark, high-back chair sits in the foreground.
Haruki Murakami is standing in a cozy room lit by warm light, holding a record, next to a record player with an album spinning. The room is decorated with framed pictures and has a welcoming ambience.

The project has been described as a quintessential A24 movie, one that likely will include eye-brow raising, meme-able scenes that should resonate among the TikTok class.

burial mag softlaunch. read the guidelines (at least the underlined parts). this is a ‘slow publishing’ project—bespoke, lofi, only going to publish a handful of pieces per year. if you’re looking for speed, we might not be the venue for you. welcome.

i’ll post at the end. but it isn’t going to offer visceral rewards. now i’m thinking someone might have underlined random things for a teacher/professor’s book check. but also it’s dennis cooper’s “god jr.” so that seems unlikely
