1/ Common question: Favorite book to read about crypto/blockchain? My answer: @Twitter. Anything in print is outdated. Need realtime updates and discussion since we are all still in search of the truth. So fortunate to have many smart people giving their time to educate.

Co-founder vesting should be 6 years. The only founder who isn’t happy with that, is the one who leaves. I talk to so many founders who wish they did this.

Today we returned another 0.42x of cash back to LPs in Fund 1. @BoostVC Fund 1 ($38m & 2016 vintage) now sits at 4.35x DPI. What Fund 1 pitch looked like 10 years ago: - Accelerator for 'Emerging Technologies' (have since rephrased to First Money into Deep Tech) - 100+

🤯 moment this week. Founder got to the finish line with a lead investor. All co-investors and pro-rata had signed and wired. Lead (75% of round) backs out on closing day. We think the fund doesn't actually have money. 10 years in and I thought I had seen it all.
