'Beachy Head' Emerges! A historic day for everyone at The Bluebell Railway. New build Marsh Atlantic No. 32424 'Beachy Head' was transported from its shed at Sheffield Park yesterday afternoon and was partnered with its tender for the very first time this morning.

'Beachy Head' Moves For The First Time! Today, 'Beachy Head' passed its boiler test at Sheffield Park and made its first movements around the yard. Further news will be shared in due course regarding 32424. Further testing is required before the locomotive will enter service.

Stepney & Fenchurch Reunited Again! This is a post very much worth sharing with everybody, the chance to see No.55 'Stepney' and No.72 'Fenchurch' together once more was too good not to miss! Here both Terriers are seen together at Sheffield Park station.

We're pleased to announce that No.72 Fenchurch successfully passed its steam test earlier today. The locomotive will be returning to Bluebell Railway tracks soon!

30583 Heads Into Atlantic House! Alongside 'Beachy Head' heading out of Atlantic House, Adams Radial 30583 headed in the opposite direction yesterday. This is the first step on the road to overhauling this popular locomotive, which the Atlantic House team will overlook.

THE BLUEBELL RAILWAY'S YOUNGEST FOOTPLATE CREW! This weekend, Driver Charlie Ralph, working alongside Fireman Ben Gray, became one of the youngest, if not the youngest footplate crew to have worked on The Bluebell Railway. The combined age between them is 44 years old!

FENCHURCH & THE MET SET. A sight we couldn't miss yesterday. No. 72 "Fenchurch" is seen on test, departing Horsted Keynes for Sheffield Park. The engine looked stunning & it's a real credit to everyone involved in returning this locomotive back to working order.
