I just arrived in New Zealand. So exciting to get freedom after more than six years. I have been invited by Word Festival in Christchurch and will participate in an event here. Thank you to all the friends who made this happen.

#MahsaAmini

1: I salute the people of New Zealand for rejecting the politics of hate & division. Australia’s asylum policies are harmful to both refugees & people of Australia, many of whom are ashamed of their government’s mistreatment of refugees & the stain left on their history.

Isn’t it strange that the Australian media fully covers the news of US seperating kids from their families, but they’ve been censoring the same thing done by their own government for five years? Lets not forget that Australia has been shamelessly caging innocent children too.

While Djokovic has a safe, comfortable life to return to, refugees who flee their homes only to be deported- are doubly persecuted. They cannot return safely. This is what it means to be a refugee.

Some say that Australia's reputation has been damaged because of the situation with @DjokerNole, but in a better world, public anxieties about international image would be stirred by the imprisonment of refugees in the same hotel for almost a decade

#MahsaAmini

Such a rediclilius and unacceptable statement by Labor Party. You exiled me to Manus and you have supported this exile policy for years. I don't need you to welcome resttlement for me in a third country.

People’s response to Djokovic’s visa cancellation: "No one is above the law" forgetting already that there is an individual who is above the law: the immigration minister. A dictator who’s been playing with our lives.

This photo of a Kurdish woman has shaken the whole of Iran. She is the daughter of Minoo Majidi - a mother who was killed by the islamic republic regime while protesting. She stands at her mother's gravesite. She holds the hair she cut from her head.
