Patrick exercised his right to vote today. The DC Board of Elections facilitated a drop off of his ballot and waited while he voted with Nataly’s help. Thank you to Pat’s aunt Dawn who worked hard to figure out how to make this happen. A very special day! #BehanStrong

We would like to give an update: While Pat remains in the George Washington ICU, yesterday he was taken off the ventilator and has returned to bi-pap assistance. The hope is that he can return home on the bi-pap alone without more invasive breathing assistance. He continues to

Here is the reality: Pat is currently in the @GWHospital ICU, fighting for his life. He has pneumonia and is on full ventilation, a blood clot in his lungs, his stomach is in knots, among other things. ALS is unforgiving. It does not affect the mind, but it does. It does not

Patrick is home and doing well! He was discharged on Friday after spending 18 days at the hospital. In addition to getting the tracheostomy, he battled two pneumonia infections. Patrick continues to show resilience through it all. #EndALS #BehanStrong Thank you to everyone that

Patrick was switched to his home ventilator yesterday and has completed the 24-hour trial. This trial is important because it mimics the home setting where only Nataly and the caregivers can respond to his needs and take care of him. If at some point he needed to be switched back
