"Cuba isn't socialist!"
I don't care. Even if I believed that (I don't), my support of Cuba is not predicated on whether they are a socialist state or not. I support Cuba because of what they have done for their people in the face of a criminal decades-long embargo

Not to diminish the Russian anti-war protestors or anything but if those videos are legit the "worst examples of police brutality" you've ever seen...have you ever seen an American protest? I'm white as fuck and was at a peaceful march and got shot with rubber bullets and gassed
Does Cuba have problems? Of course they do. But those problems are for Cubans to fix. Not a bunch of holier-than-thou socialists in 1st world countries who can think of no better way to spend their limited time on this earth than attacking a country under siege

Hey Ben, why did the "Hungarian working class mark the homes of Jews and communists with the Arrow Cross? Why did they conduct pogroms? It was a fascist uprising. Not a democratic one

Where am I going with this? I'm not entirely sure. Writing it out helps me think about everything, I suppose. It's sometimes hard to imagine the sheer scale of horror that fascism has subjected the world to. Tens of millions. Murder on an industrial scale. (5/6)
