In January 2020, a former coworker texted me. She was working at a vet tech, and had a cat who was going to be left at a shelter. She had a lot of behavioral problems, they were scared she’d get worse at a shelter.
I agreed to foster temporarily. I got there and saw this face.
Don’t you feel that way about photos of women who aren’t you? When my grandma died, I loved the few of her laughing. We put together a collage of copies of our favorites at the front of her funeral, she’d have hated it. She hated all photos of her, but they made me feel better.💜
