Our first EV seemed to be of interest. Thought I would share our second one which will be going on patrol.

The complexity of the Commissioner’s role is indescribable & tough beyond belief. Critics hover, overlooking the positive. Can’t imagine how Cress feels tonight. We are all people behind the uniform. Thanks Cress for your service, stoicism & your support to policing.

Last Saturday, with an officer from ⁦@metpoliceuk⁩ we remembered #Yvonnefletcher by laying 2 roses given to us by ⁦⁦⁦@theroyalparks⁩. 37 years ago WPC Fletcher went to work but never went home. We must never forget those who lost their lives in the line of duty

So many views on protest & policing at the moment. #policing is a #joblikenoother and I am proud of my @BTP officers. Could you do this? I am also horrified that anyone including #twitter finds it acceptable to use or permit the use of a hashtag of #killthebill

Four years ago, eight people were killed, many more injured and the lives of countless others changed forever during the terror attack at London Bridge. Today, we remember all of those affected by that terrible night.

Had a fantastic first day today in Birmingham. Travelled on the 0730 train speaking to crew. Enjoyed meeting many of ⁦⁦⁦@BTP⁩ officers PCSOs and Police Staff. They were all enormously proud of what they do and I am really looking forward to working with everyone. 😊

Many of you will know that as part of the celebration of 100years of @metpoliceuk women we wanted to improve maternity full pay for police women nationally to 26weeks. This was supported by @PoliceChiefs. Delighted to hear this has been agreed by the @ukhomeoffice

Today we should take a moment to remember the 6 people who were murdered in the #harrods bombing in 1983. 3 police officers and 3 civilians. #NeverForget

Remembering all those affected by the terrible attack at #ManchesterArena 4 years ago. 22 people lost their lives and so many more are still dealing with the impact of that day. My thoughts are with them. #WeStandTogether #Manchester22 🐝💙
