    Today we're marking the anniversary of the first insulin shot! #OnThisDay in 1922 on 11 Jan, #insulin was used for the treatment of #type1diabetes. Leonard Thompson,14, was given an injection of insulin by Sir Frederick Banting's team at Toronto General Hospital, Canada. #JDRF
