    Art Shell was an outstanding offensive tackle for Maryland State College. Respectively so, Shell won 2 Super Bowls as a Raider, and became the 2nd African-American head coach in the history of pro FB with the @Raiders . The 8x Pro-Bowler was elected to the Pro Football HOF #BHM

    Willie Brown was apart of Grambling’s first SWAC Championship. The cornerback went on to be a 5x AFL All-Star, Raiders franchise leader for INTs and previously held the Super Bowl record for longest INT. Brown was inducted into the Pro Football HOF in 1984. #BlackHistoryMonth

    Mel Blount is considered one of the best cornerbacks to have ever played in the NFL. Blount had at least 1 interception in all of his 14 seasons, retiring w/ 57 interceptions & 736 return yards. The 5x Pro Bowler was inducted into the Pro Football HOF in 1989. #BlackHistoryMonth

    Steve “Air McNair” had many standout seasons with Alcorn State, being named First-Team All-SWAC three years in a row. He went on to be a 10 year starting Quarterback for the Tennessee Titans & became the first African-American Quarterback to win AP NFL MVP. #BlackHistoryMonth

    The 6’9” DE, Ed “Too Tall” Jones was a 2x All-American & 2x Black College Football Champion at TSU. He is the 1st player from an HBCU to be drafted #1 overall- in 1974 by the Dallas Cowboys. The Super Bowl champion tallied 106 sacks & was selected to 3 Pro-Bowls. #BHM
