- Wes Streeting : have spoken over the phone with the BMA junior doctors committee - I can announce that talks to end their industrial action will begin next week. We promised during the campaign that we would begin negotiations as a matter of urgency, and that is what we are doing
- NHS England have said there are now more COVID patients in hospitals in England that at previous peak in April - 20,426 as of today.
- Interesting and sad to report that the 7 day rolling average for COVID 19 deaths has moved up a little.
