How to modify stent strings in less than a minute so they are not inadvertently tugged on. I borrowed this technique from Dr. Lingeman and haven’t had a patient accidentally remove their stent since. No need for trying to tape the strings out of the way… just cut to length

First 20 HoLEPs post fellowship completed, same day catheter removal was attempted in 16 patients with 100% success rate! no ED visits or re-catheterization needed. Enucleation allows for outstanding outcomes even in small community hospitals.
HoLEP from last week, ~90yo catheter dependent with 130cc prostate. Early apical release, 76 min total procedure time, completed under spinal. Pt is continent and catheter free. Why are we performing robot simples?
