This isn’t true. The NCDC is a good league for players coming right out of high school. What if a player who is dominating wants to make a mid-year jump?
That’s no longer possible. There are plenty D1 players that played their first year of junior hockey in the NCDC.

This is a good thing. The NCDC isn’t junior hockey, neither is the EHL. If you can’t make the NAHL and don’t get picked up by a Provence affiliated leauge in Canada, go play club hockey or hang them up, you are not an elite player.
