Hot take: Alicent is more layered and intriguing in the show than in the books. Sure, there are some flaws in how she’s written, but despite that, I feel way more invested in show Alicent than book Alicent. Looking forward to her s3 arc. Now, unleash your Faceless Men—I’m ready.
