- Congratulations are in order for Dr. Cecilia Crear as she will be the Chief of Schools. Dr. Crear will ensure the development and delivery of the instruction program is effective and efficient, incorporate district goals, and support student achievement!
- Alief ISD’s Board of Trustees has selected Austin ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Anthony Mays as the lone finalist to serve as the next superintendent of the District.
- All Alief ISD schools and offices will be closed on Monday November, 7, to allow our families to celebrate the historic Houston Astros World Series victory. After school activities are also canceled.
- Alief ISD is providing a shelter for flood victims at Taylor High School. The shelter is now open. Pets in carriers are welcome.
