People always ask "Why do people like Frontiers" This is why man. It's legit just fun to move around and play as Sonic. It's never been that complicated.
Little known fact. This checkpoint is here because Gens 3DS ripped the level design straight from Sonic and Knuckles. And this checkpoint is supposed to be right before the boss. For some reason they just didnt think to remove it. Shows how much of a rush job this game was.
