    𝐃𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐚: 𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 is sited on the arid island of Khadir in Gujarat. Occupied between ca. 3000-1500 BCE, the archaeological site, one of the best preserved urban settlements from the period in Southeast Asia, comprises a fortified city & a cemetery.

    𝐒𝐮𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞,𝐊𝐨𝐧â𝐫𝐚𝐤 On the shores of Bay of Bengal, bathed in rays of the rising sun, the temple at Konarak is a monumental representation of the sun god Surya's chariot.Built in the 13th century, the temple is attributed to Narasimhadeva I of Eastern Ganga Dynasty.

    Excavation by @ASIGoI team in Andhra’s Gottiprolu indicate it as a Trade Centre of Early Historic Period, 2000 year old brick structure and a Vishnu sculpture also unearthed.

    The tweet regarding replacement of sculptures with plain stones is false and misleading. The 2 images shown in the tweet are from different locations. The image with sculptures is from Natya Mandapa while the plain stones images are from the plinth of Jagmohana (the main temple).
