    The Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Randy A. George, presided over U.S. Army Cyber Command’s change of command. Outgoing commander, Lt. Gen. Maria B. Barrett, transitioned her command to Lt. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank, who takes over as the 6th commanding officer for ARCYBER.
    Chief of Staff of the Army, Gen., Randy A. George, passed on the colors to U.S. Army Cyber Command incoming commander, Lt. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank, during the U.S. Army Cyber Command Change of Command ceremony December 3, 2025 at the Cyber Conference & Catering Center on Fort Gordon, GA. Eubank is now the 6th commanding officer in U.S. Army Cyber Command’s history.
    Lt. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank received the first shell fired during the 15-gun salute following the U.S. Army Cyber Command Change of Command ceremony on Dec. 3, 2025, at Fort Eisenhower, Ga. The 15-gun salute is a traditional honor rendered to mark the assumption of command by a three-star general.

    Funding for the Dept. of War expired Sept 30 at 11:59 PM EST. Military staff will continue duty unpaid until Congress passes a funding bill. Civilian workers not in essential roles are furloughed without pay.
