Once again, the First Assistant U.S. Attorney conveniently omits a key fact: the Trump Administration's USPS rule that would severely restrict mail-in voting remains blocked in California and 23 other states through the upcoming November 3, 2026 general election. My office is

This ruling is a win for election integrity and would have significant implications for states like California that refuse to submit their voter rolls to verify compliance with federal election laws.

When we see corporate consolidation, such as in Paramount and Warner Brothers, we often see higher prices for everyday consumers, lower wages for workers, less competition, less diversity of content, and more.   That’s why we have antitrust laws — to prevent mergers such as this.

President Trump’s “big speech” came across as a desperate attempt to throw anything and everything at the wall in order to get his voter fraud theories to stick. His inability to accept defeat would be laughable if it wasn’t so dangerous. We have stood strong in defense of

Unsure where this reporting originated from, but I’ve literally never said this. Spinning off one channel from a media conglomerate is not a sufficient remedy to protect consumers and preserve competition in the film and television industry.

California is one of 12 Democratic-led states suing to block Paramount Skydance’s $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. The merger “will raise prices. It will lower quality. It will lessen content,” says @AGRobBonta, California’s attorney general.

The Trump Administration has defanged our federal regulators. That's why Attorneys General like @AGRobBonta have to step in to give this mega-merger the scrutiny it deserves. A deal this size, in an industry that's already lost thousands of California jobs, could mean less

We’ve filed an emergency motion asking the court to stop the merger of Paramount and Warner Bros.  These titans of industry must not move to merge until a court properly evaluates our claims.  We will not let Warner Bros. and Paramount merge without a fight.

For more than a century, Paramount and Warner Brothers have squared off as fierce competitors. Allowing them to merge would snuff out competition, drive up prices, diminish content quality, and produce fewer movies and shows each year. There’s no debate.
