Adoption works. It’s not always perfect or easy. But if you’re a young lady considering abortion, believe that maybe it’s the right thing to give your child a chance at life. 55 years ago today, a scared 19 year old gave birth to me and then gave me up for adoption. God is good.

Carry a handgun everywhere you go if you can. I’ve been somewhat lax since I left law enforcement, full disclosure. When I was active, I never went anywhere without my gun off duty. Be prepared. It may save a life.
