The 252 lost an outstanding young man to senseless gun violence last night. Hertford County Senior Vashuan Smith was a fierce competitor that played with heart and a determination matched by very few. We send our deepest condolences to the Smith Family/Hertford County community.

Hertford County Oshane Xamines is the 1st player from ODU to be drafted in the NFL Draft. He now joins Kareem Martin (Roanoke Rapids NC) as a NY Giant.

Outstanding group of young men representing the 252 today as ECU takes on 13th ranked UCF at Dowdy-Ficklin Stadium. Last years roster included 12 players from the 252, ECU roster this year has increased to a total of 16 players from our area. Good luck gentlemen!!
