This achievement is nothing new for the owners of La Piedra: this is the third consecutive time the restaurant has been included in the prestigious list. Last year, the kosher pizzeria ranked 39th. "I am thrilled by the honor and the impressive event," said the owner, Avi Sinclair. "I am proud we won the title of the best kosher pizza in the world and promise everyone that in the coming years, Piedra will continue to bring innovation with exquisite flavors and continue to honor the dish we live, breathe and love so much - pizza.”
La Piedra, which offers Neapolitan-style pizza, was established nine years ago in Jerusalem and now operates three strictly kosher branches — two in Jerusalem and one in Petah Tikva. The pizza is made from Italian flour, undergoes slow fermentation, and is baked in a stone oven fueled by wood.

Sinclair took to the prestigious stage to receive the award wearing an orange hat in tribute to the Bibas family members who were murdered while in Hamas captivity. As Sinclair accepted the certificate, he made a three-finger gesture to the audience, honoring liberated hostage Emily Damari. "The complex period we have been experiencing since October 7 accompanies us every day and every minute," Sinclair said.
"Even in a joyful moment like this, it is our duty to remember those we were fortunate to celebrate their safe return and, sadly, those who did not return home as we had hoped, leaving us with shock and deep pain. We will continue to call from every platform for the return of our brothers and sisters who have been held captive for 522 days in Hamas captivity. Their return home will be a great victory and immense joy for all of us."

For Neopolitan in Haifa, owned by Oren Avni, it is the first time that the restaurant made the list, though it has been considered one of the best pizzerias in Israel for years and has received rave reviews. Neapolitan was established about five years ago and also offers Neapolitan-style pizza baked in a wood-fired oven. The dough is made with sourdough, and the cheeses are sourced from small local dairies. Avni learned to make pizza himself after traveling in Italy.
