What time is check-in and check-out at White Doe Inn?
Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you arrive early, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us and enjoy the grounds, gardens, and downtown Manteo while your room is prepared.
Is breakfast included with my stay?
Yes. A multi-course chef-prepared breakfast is included every morning, served from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Our chef uses the freshest ingredients and accommodates all dietary needs — let us know your requirements when you book. Complimentary afternoon refreshments are also available daily.

Does White Doe Inn allow pets?
No. White Doe Inn does not allow pets due to the historic nature of our 1910 property and consideration for guests with allergies. We’re happy to recommend nearby pet-friendly boarding options on the Outer Banks.
Are children welcome at White Doe Inn?
White Doe Inn welcomes guests ages 12 and older. The inn’s historic architecture, antique furnishings, and tranquil atmosphere are best suited for adults and older children.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 14 or more days before arrival receive a full refund minus a $45 processing fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival receive a credit toward a future stay. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are forfeited.
