Winter Storm Update: Modified Operations Schedule for this Weekend

The University will operate on a modified schedule beginning 6 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, due to the inclement winter weather:

  • No in-person events or activities will be held on Grounds from 6 p.m. Saturday through Sunday, January 25.
  • University Transit Service buses will stop running at 6 p.m. on Saturday and will not be available on Sunday. The UVA Operations Status Board will provide the latest updates on UTS services.
  • UVA Recreation Facilities will close Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Updates on reopening of facilities will be posted on the UVA Operations Status Board.
