The NVCC serves as the Incubation Platform, Empowering Veteran-Leaders who are Ready, Willing and Able to Lead Projects in their Local Communities.

Who We Are -and- What We Do

1. The National Veterans Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) is the leading authority for licensing and chartering veteran-focused initiatives. We review, verify, and approve programs that support military and veteran communities, ensuring a trustworthy, high-quality ecosystem for veterans and their families. 
2. Awards Official Licenses: We offer licenses for our trademarked, veteran-focused programs, allowing organizations to integrate them into their own training initiatives. Our licensed curriculum includes turnkey programs and services in Entrepreneurship, Supervision, Leadership, and Procurement.
3. Charter Authority: As a primary chartering body, we support local leaders in launching high-impact, veteran-focused entities. We ensure that newly formed veteran-focused and community organizations are built on a foundation of excellence and mission alignment.
4. Professional Development Units: We evaluate curricula from trainers and organizations interested in offering Professional Development Units (PDUs) within their training programs. Connect Program, the NVCC validates the credibility of local initiatives and ensures they foster economic mobility and long-term community integration. 

The NVCC strategic framework:

1. Mission: To improve the lives of veterans, transitioning service members, and their families through career-focused training, workforce development, and employment support.
2. Vision: To serve as a Project Incubation Platform, empowering veteran-leaders who are prepared to lead transformative projects within their local communities.
3. Purpose: To promote collaboration and empowerment by supporting innovative ideas in key areas such as Education, Employment, Wellness, and Entrepreneurship.​

The NVCC’s licensing framework - Designed for two types of programs:

1. Programs (Educational & Training Workshops)
The NVCC reviews, verifies, and awards licenses to programs that demonstrate "transformative potential" in areas such as education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Programs that meet these standards receive a "Verification of Approval," confirming high-quality content and real-world implementation that directly supports the veteran community. 

• Educational Programs: Licenses are granted to curriculum-based initiatives focusing on career-ready skills. Examples include certifications for New Business Owners, the Drone Pilot Program, and the Business Coach Certificate.
• Training Programs: Approved initiatives, such as the V.E.T. Connect Program, are licensed to help transitioning service members bridge the gap between military life and civilian careers by connecting them with vital local resources. 
  
  

2. Local Veteran Chapters & Organizations
The NVCC licenses local veteran chapters that provide their communities with essential resources and veteran-focused services. 

• National Network: The NVCC has established a network system where veteran leaders can spearhead local projects and initiatives.
• Standardization: This licensing framework ensures that every veteran-focused entity operates with the same mission alignment and high standards of service.
• Empowerment: Licensing chapters is a unique and powerful way to empower local leaders and establish clear paths of collaboration between local resources.
