President Trump convened the first meeting of the Board of Peace at the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace headquarters in Washington, D.C., with representatives from nearly 50 countries. Board of Peace members pledged $7 billion toward Gaza reconstruction and humanitarian efforts, in addition to President Trump’s $10 billion commitment from the United States.

The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) hosted the official signing ceremony of a peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda, marking a major step toward ending a conflict spanning more than three decades.
