VRYKERION the TUMBLR

A Hat that rants about Final Fantasy, WoW, SWTOR, and all sorts of random things (Cartoons, Anime, D&D, etc). Other Ways to Find Me:

Final Fantasy XII #17: The Treasure of the Dynast-King

So it turns out that whole treasure thing was a giant firey four armed goat man named Belias. Which certainly says some things about the Dynast-King’s personal uh… interests, doesn’t it? But what about the pretty rock? Did they have the Dawn Shard? And why is the Empire here?

Final Fantasy XII #16: Raithwall's Tomb

Somewhere in the depths of the dusty old tomb is a great treasure, and the proof of Princess Ashe’s noble lineage, and maybe some gil. Probably some gil. Treasure chests like dropping a pittance of gil. But first we have to figure out our way past these bloody Demon Walls! Yes, I said WALLS plural!

Final Fantasy XII #15: The Valley Guardian

Beyond the Sandsea lies the Tomb of Raithwall, but to enter it we first have to deal with its guardian – a giant bird that we’ve been warned about like 20 times by the local merchants. And since we completely whiffed the whole quest with the Land Turtle, this is gonna be a bit trickier…

Final Fantasy XII #14: Return of the Nemesis

We’ve crossed the first half of the Sandsea on our journey, but something far worse awaits us on the other side – The return of the Land Turtle. Kind of. I mean, it’s not called a Land Turtle, but we all know it is.

Just Chattin' Bout: The Old Tech

A discussion about working in the tech field descends into reminiscing about the days of web 1.0 and the strange and downright jank tech we all used to use – and some we didn’t. Including the days of web forums with phpbb, hosting your own web sites on GeoCities and Microsoft’s strange experiment in getting boomers to use Windows with Microsoft Bob.

Final Fantasy XII #13: Into the Sandsea

Escaping the Leviathan after defeating the somewhat intimidating Judge Ghis, Vahn and company get ‘volunteered’ to ‘kidnap’ Ashe to go after the only thing that get her the throne of Rabanastre back – some manner of proof of her birthright. To do that we’ll have to go across the Sandsea where we fight the Fremen- er… the Tuskan Raiders- uh… these other sand people.

Final Fantasy 2 in One Sitting: My 5th Anniversary Stream (Part 3 of 3)

To celebrate five years of streaming and two years of being an affiliate, Vry faces his greatest challenge yet: Replaying the one Final Fantasy he never wanted to ever play again. In one sitting. For 10 hours straight. Join him and revel in his despair!

Final Fantasy XII #11: A Cunning Ruse in Bhujerba

After a quick hunt in the Lhusu Mines, we’re back to trying to figure out how to rescue our dear Penelo from the treacherous clutches of Lamont uh… I mean Prince Larsa. Vahn knows that the little squirt has eyes for his girl. So what better way to sneak on board an Imperial dreadnought than to get arrested – again! I see no way this can backfire.

Final Fantasy XII #9: Hunting in Rabanastre

Now that we’ve escaped prison, it’s time to wander around the city that we were originally arrested in and perform some attention grabbing hunts to stay under the radar. Sure, the Wraith might give us some trouble but that Flowering Cactoid should be cake, right?

Shadowrun: Dragonfall #14: Failing the Test

I’ve never save scummed in Baldur’s Gate, I’ve never looked up a guide on my options in Mass Effect – but as Dunkelzahn as my witness I am going to pass this test.

Final Fantasy XII #8: Barheim's Bug Problem

Well, I guess we figured out why the power was out. We continue down the long corridors of the Barheim Passage facing off with the oddly named mimics – who only really live up to that name once or twice – until we come face to uh… legs… with their queen.
