Prof. Guan Gui
Prof. Jungong Han

Guan Gui (Fellow, IEEE) received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2012. From 2009 to 2014, he was a research assistant and postdoctoral research fellow at Tohoku University, Japan. From 2014 to 2015, he was an Assistant Professor at Akita Prefectural University in Japan. Since 2015, he has been a Professor at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. His research focuses on intelligent sensing and recognition, intelligent signal processing, and physical layer security. Dr. Gui has authored over 200 IEEE journal and conference papers and received several best paper awards, including at ICC 2017, ICC 2014, and VTC 2014-Spring. He is a fellow of IEEE, IET, and AAIA, and he is recognized for his contributions to intelligent signal analysis and wireless resource optimization. Among his accolades, he received the IEEE Communications Society Heinrich Hertz Award in 2021 and was named a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher from 2021 to 2024. Dr. Gui is a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) and the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). He is an editorial board member for several leading journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. Additionally, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems. He has also held prominent roles in international conferences, such as Executive Chair of IEEE ICCT 2023, Executive Chair of VTC 2021-Fall, and Vice Chair of WCNC 2021.

Prof. Weizhi Meng

Professor Jungong Han joined the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University in September 2024 as a Xinghua Chair Professor. Prior to this, from 2004 to 2024, he held tenured positions at leading European universities, national research institutes, and global enterprises, establishing himself as a recognized expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning. His research has made significant contributions to dynamic neural networks, multimodal visual perception, brain-inspired learning, and foundation model optimization. In these areas, he has published over 200 papers in top-tier venues, with more than 31,000 citations, an H-index of 83, and repeated recognition in Stanford University’s Global Top 2% Scientists list. His AI innovations, including a CSI Award-winning content retrieval system, have been successfully deployed in industry and honored with a Technology & Engineering Emmy Award. He is a Fellow of the IAPR and the AAIA.

Weizhi Meng is a Full Professor in the School of Computing and Communications, Lancaster University, United Kingdom. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the City University of Hong Kong. He was a recipient of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Outstanding Paper Award for Young Engineers/Researchers in both 2014 and 2017. He also received the IEEE ComSoc Best Young Researcher Award for Europe, Middle East, & Africa Region (EMEA) in 2020, and the IEEE HITC Award for Excellence for Middle Career Researchers in 2023. Due to his leading activities in Region 8, he received the IEEE MGA Young Professionals Achievement Award in 2020. His primary research interests cover blockchain technology, cyber security and artificial intelligence in security, including intrusion detection, blockchain applications, smartphone security, biometric authentication, automotive security and IoT security. He serves as associate editors / editorial board members for many reputed journals such as IEEE TDSC and IEEE TIFS, as well as general chair for various international conferences such as ACM CCS 2023 and ESORICS 2022. He is an ACM Distinguished Speaker.
Prof. Wei Gong
University of Science and Technology of China, China

Wei Gong is a Professor of University of Science and Technology of China. His research group pioneered research on backscatter communications and networks. His works have led the world's efforts on developing general-purpose backscatter on a number of research fronts, including multi-stream, multi-hop, and multi-identification backscatter networks, all of which were published in flagship international conferences. He has published more than 200 papers, most of which appear in top-tier conferences and journals, e.g., ACM MobiCom, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking. He has won many best paper awards of international conferences, such as IEEE GlobeCom、ICCC、DCOSS. He has served as the Technical Program Committee for a number of prestigious conferences, including CoNEXT、MobiSys、PerCom、HotMobile. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE TMC, IEEE Network, and Tsinghua Science and Technology.
