Tech Lockdown Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the techlockdown.com website (the “Service”) operated by Tech Lockdown, LLC. (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you do not have permission to access the Service.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Tech Lockdown cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account (even by others who have their own logins under your account).
You may not use our service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
You may not misuse the Service, including by interfering with or disrupting the Service, attempting unauthorized access to the Service or related systems, sharing account access in violation of your plan or our instructions, scraping or harvesting data from the Service, reverse engineering the Service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law, or attempting to bypass subscription restrictions, eligibility rules, security protections, or usage limits.
You must provide your legal full name and a valid email address in order to complete the signup process.
You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or other automated methods are not permitted.
Customer Support
Customer support is provided for Tech Lockdown products and services, including reasonable assistance with supported integrations to the extent an issue directly relates to the setup, configuration, or use of Tech Lockdown with that integration.
Customer support does not include general consulting, training, or troubleshooting for third-party products or services except as they directly relate to the Service. For example, while we may assist with how Tech Lockdown connects to a supported Cloudflare integration, we do not provide general Cloudflare product support, general support for other third-party products, or broad troubleshooting for devices, networks, software, accounts, or systems that are unrelated to the Service. We may decline, limit, or stop responding to support requests that are outside the scope of the Service or a subscription’s included support.
Subscriptions
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”). You will be billed on a recurring and periodic basis (“Billing Cycle”). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly, 6-month, or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.
At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Tech Lockdown cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account settings page or by contacting Tech Lockdown customer support team at [email protected].
A valid payment method, including credit card, is required to process the payment for your Subscription. You shall provide Tech Lockdown with accurate and complete billing information including full name, address, state, zip code, telephone number, and a valid payment method information. By submitting such payment information, you automatically authorize Tech Lockdown to charge all Subscription fees incurred through your account to any such payment instruments.
If Tech Lockdown offers a free trial, the details of that offer, including eligibility, duration, and whether paid billing begins automatically unless canceled, will be described at signup or checkout and are incorporated into these Terms. Only one free trial is permitted per customer. We may determine free trial eligibility in our sole discretion. If we determine that you have created, attempted to create, or participated in the creation of multiple accounts in order to obtain additional free trials, we may deny, revoke, suspend, terminate, or ban any related accounts and revoke free trial eligibility.
We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the Service, revoke free trial eligibility, or require an alternate payment method if a charge is declined, reversed, or disputed, or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized payment activity.
Money Back Guarantee
When you initially sign up for a subscription, your card will be charged based on the subscription tier and interval you selected. Tech Lockdown provides a 7 day money back guarantee. This means that if you choose to cancel your account within 7 days after signing up, you can request a refund by contacting [email protected]. Refunds must be requested and are not issued automatically if you cancel your subscription within 7 days. Once a refund is processed, it can take 5-10 days before your payment provider recognizes the refunded amount.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated otherwise by Tech Lockdown, the 7 day money back guarantee applies only to the initial purchase of a subscription and does not apply automatically to renewals, repeat purchases, upgrades, or additional purchases. We may deny a refund request in cases of abuse, fraud, chargebacks, payment reversals, repeated refund requests, or multiple free trial abuse.
Fee Changes
Tech Lockdown, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify the Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.
Tech Lockdown will provide you with reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective.
Your continued use of the Service after the Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
We reserve the right to cancel memberships, suspend or terminate accounts, and ban users who engage in abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, rude, or hostile conduct toward our employees, contractors, or customer support staff.
If you wish to stop using the Service, you may discontinue use at any time. If you wish to stop future subscription renewals, you must cancel your Subscription through your account settings page or by contacting [email protected]. Canceling a Subscription stops future renewals only and does not automatically delete your account.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
You can choose to delete your Tech Lockdown account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Account deletion is separate from Subscription cancellation, and you remain responsible for canceling any active Subscription to stop future renewal charges.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Tech Lockdown and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) Content posted on the Service.
Limitation Of Liability
In no event shall Tech Lockdown, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
Tech Lockdown its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
Tech Lockdown provides tools intended to support content filtering, device supervision, device management, and related controls, but we do not warrant or guarantee that the Service will block, detect, or prevent every website, app, bypass method, configuration change, or objectionable or harmful content in every circumstance. Service effectiveness may depend on device settings, operating system behavior, third-party providers, network conditions, user actions, and other factors outside our control.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as needed to comply with relevant regulations and reflect any new practices. Whenever we make a significant change to our policies, we will also announce them on our company blog.
