I managed to resolve the issue but not by uninstalling Hyper-V.<\/p>\n

I saw a couple of suggestions but I find this one suitable<\/p>\n

(it makes sense since I\u2019m not an IT guru):<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open the command prompt as an Administrator.<\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Run the command with no argument:<\/p>\n

bcdedit<\/code><\/p>\n

After you run the above command, you will see that the property hypervisorlaunchtype is set Auto by default.<\/p>\n

Disable Hyper-V by running the command:<\/p>\n

bcdedit \/set hypervisorlaunchtype off<\/pre>\n
STEP 4:<\/b><\/p>\n
Restart your PC system to use VirtualBox.<\/p>\n
To turn Hyper-V back on, run the command:<\/p>\n
bcdedit \/set hypervisorlaunchtype auto<\/pre>\n
You will need to reboot the system to use Hyper-V.<\/p>\n
