Professors are the best you can ever have. They are always up to date with the latest topics since they are into research, therefore also their lectures are something super new like few university in the world could have. Advanced lectures are incredibly interesting.

Meine Erfahrungen im Informatikstudium sind sehr positiv. Die Lehrveranstaltungen sind anspruchsvoll, aber mit genug Motivation gut zu bewältigen. Es gibt genug Plätze und Seminare, sodass man alle Kurse problemlos belegen kann. Die Dozenten sind sehr kompetent und bringen sowohl theoretisches Wissen als auch Praxisbezug mit. Der Studienverlauf ist klar strukturiert und baut sinnvoll aufeinander auf, sodass man gut vorankommt.

The university has very senior and competant professors. Cool research going on in MPI, CISPA research centers within university. Unfortunatley, so far these research centers have been publishing their research without naming the university. Recently, they have started to give credit to the university as well, and it is just a matter of time, Saarland University will appear in very high rankings. Courses are very demanding though.
