UNDER 18 APPLICANTS  - ONLINE

1. Can my child apply if they are under 18 years old?

Yes, we accept applications from aspiring talent between 15 and 18 years old, but we require consent from their legal guardian(s) before proceeding with the application process. Please note that an individual’s education is a top priority for us, and, when under 18, modelling is considered a holiday activity. Whilst most clients only work with talent over 18, there are sometimes rare commercial opportunities for minors. In this event, if a parent or guardian is unable to chaperone, one of the agents would always attend with the model.

2. What type of photos should we submit with the application?

We prefer natural snapshots taken in daylight, on a plain backdrop, as indicated on the website - preferably headshot, mid-length, and full-length photos. Professional photos are not necessary. Please ensure your child is not wearing makeup, so we can see their natural features.

3. Will my child be safe during the application and selection process?

Absolutely. The safety and well-being of our young applicants is our top priority. All interactions and meetings will be conducted with professionalism, and a legal guardian must accompany minors to any in-person meetings or video calls.

4. Is there a fee for applying or signing with Storm Models?

No, there is no fee to apply or to sign with Storm Models. We do not charge any application or registration fees.

5. What happens if my child is selected?

If selected, you and your child will be invited for a follow-up meeting or video call where we will explain the next steps in detail. During this meeting, we will tell you about the modelling industry, the agency, introduce you to the team, explain what it means to be represented by Storm Models and discuss your development process.

6. How does Storm Models ensure the well-being of its underage models?

We take the well-being of all our models very seriously. We provide guidance and support throughout their career, including resources designed to help young models navigate their way safely and successfully. Guardians are encouraged to be involved at every step. A key feature in a young model’s career are the group development days, known as “bootcamps”, where you will be taught how to be a professional model, in front of the camera and on the catwalk, with additional sessions relating to health & well-being with talks given by former or working models where they speak about their own careers and experiences.

7. What happens to the photos submitted with the application?

All application data, including photos, is stored securely in our online portal and is used only to assess suitability for representation. If your child's application is unsuccessful, all data is automatically deleted after 30 days. You can read full details as to how your data is processed and stored in our full Privacy Notice at https://www.stormmanagement.com/legal/privacy-notice/
