In SQL, the SQRT<\/code>\u00a0function returns the square root of a\u00a0number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

number | expression<\/em> is a number or expression that evaluates to a number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The SQRT<\/code> function only accepts a positive number. If you pass a negative number to the function, it will issue an error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Return type #<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The SQRT<\/code>\u00a0function a float number with the precision that depends on each database system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
