Get the facts straight
Will we remain the root owner of our AWS account, or will ownership shift to you?
The process varies based on your AWS setup. If you have a single AWS account, the change will be a simple invitation without altering the root. However, if you have multiple accounts under an AWS Organization, you have two options: either change the root email of your management account within the AWS Organization, or disband your current AWS Organization and invite each existing member account individually.
What level of access will your team have to our AWS account (billing only, or technical as well)?
Access is limited to billing, so we can view your invoices and usage but can't make any changes.
If we decide to leave your umbrella later, can we easily unlink our account? What happens to the unused credits?
Feel free to switch back to direct billing anytime, but since the root has changed, we'll need to have an offboarding call. Your credits will stay on your AWS account, but keep in mind they also have an expiration date.
What is the eligibility criteria??
The only 2 eligibility criterias is that the project is not older than 10 years and has an up-and-running website on a corporate domain.
What’s in it for you?
Our pricing model is success-based, meaning we take 25% of the amount we helped you save on AWS.
Are there minimum commitments?
No minimum commitments, just a 30-day termination notice before the offboarding.
Do these credits come directly from AWS, or through a reseller/partner arrangement?
Various programs offer different ways to earn credits for your AWS account. In all cases, AWS makes the final decision on approving or rejecting credits for your account.
Will we still receive AWS billing statements directly, or only through Spendbase?
Billing will go through us as a partner.
