Personal Lockers
Lockers are available on the Oakland building’s Lower Level on a first-come/first-served basis. Guests can rent a locker for single or multiple use during their Science Center visit.*
- $1 – Single Use. Insert items and remove them only once. You may rent again as needed.
- $5 – Multi Use. Items can be stored and removed as many times during your visit. On your final use, make sure to select the option that indicates the end of your rental.
Guests will choose a unique code that will open the locker.
*All lockers will be checked at the end of the day to ensure any lost items are returned to the security team.
Only credit card payments are accepted. No cash option is available.
If you have problems or issues with your locker rental, please contact our Guest Services team at the Box Office in the main lobby of the Oakland building.
Private Comfort Rooms
A private Comfort Room is available on the Oakland building’s Lower Level for guests seeking privacy for nursing or other personal needs. Please go to the Box Office in the main lobby of the Oakland building, and a Guest Services team member will be happy to assist you. While we provide this private, secure area for your convenience, please know that you are welcome to nurse comfortably anywhere throughout the Science Center.
First Aid
If you need first aid or medical assistance, the nearest staff member or security officer can help. There is a first-aid room located in the Oakland building lobby. There is also a first-aid station in the McDonnell Planetarium lobby.
Lost and Found
If you lose something during your visit, please visit the Box Office in the Oakland building lobby, or call our Lost & Found hotline at 314.289.1463. Leave a message with your phone number and a detailed description of the lost object. Calls are returned on a regular basis.
Strollers, Wheelchairs and Motorized Scooters
Wheelchairs and strollers are free to rent and are available in the lobbies of the Oakland building and the McDonnell Planetarium. The Science Center also has a limited number of motorized scooters available for a $25 rental fee. Please ask a Guest Services team member and they will be happy to assist you. Please note that supplies are limited.
